I cannot think that you
Will ever forget...
For in some hidden recess
Of your being,
Dusty by time's neglect,
Tarnished by forgotten tears,
Abides still
Remembrance.
And though your eyes
Be shut upon it,
And your heart closed
Against it,
It shall sometimes wake
At night,
And whisper low...

I often think of them, those of my past, and wonder if they do the same?

How easy is it to forget one you truely loved, or that you know loved you?

Very nice write.
Tracey.

This reminded me painfully of my fiancee who passed away from a heroin overdose when I was seventeen.

Nevertheless, it was an articulate and poignant poem.
