Because we still miss them and because justice still waits...

Outline

I am traced
Smeared outline of what I use to be, this life has taken a turn I could have never foreseen
My skin tingles with anticipation of touch that never materializes
Transparent, a shadow of intention never quenched
I am lost in a world of invisible need

I miss you
My memory now serves as a taunting reminder
Of what has gone, a haunting detail tangible only in tears
Bleeding the sweet, screaming obscenities for its sacrifice
It shouldn’t have been like this

I believed
In something, that is just beyond my recognition
Knowing once it was identifiable, yet never real
Wanting it enough to think I could make it touchable, painless
It could have been so much more

I ache
For a viable solution, a counter offer to misery
An alternative to this hopeless destiny
A world with the you I love, a world in which no one leaves, lies, pretends or dies.
It would have been everything.

Cun- Shangri-La

The ground is damp on the bare of my knees
The grass, a rectangle of green
A Shade lighter than the rest
I can still see the lines of fresh

It states only your given
Not the one he seemed so driven
To make you wear

“Cun- Shangri-La”

I can only hope,
Peace, and strength to cope

I went to the other place.
Looking for a trace

His mother was there
But didn’t respond
When I asked where

I see your faces
In my minds eye

Smiling

Happy

Taken

Lost

“Cun- Shangri-La”

My only hope.

That and peace.

A very heartfelt tribute Susan.  Do they have any suspects at all?  Is there any later news on these terrible murders?

Not that they are saying.

Those that are/were close to the circle of friends have their opinions of who did it.

and oddly enough, it's the same suspect.

go figure.

Thank you for responding Sharon..I love you for it.

I remember...

Such a horrific tragedy! ~ and  especially difficult to bear for you and your family who knew Chelsea and Matthew.

This was exceptionally moving, heart-felt, and well-written.

Thank you AW.

We went to the cemetery Friday then to Chelsea's grandma's house and watched all the news broadcast from when they were murdered and the America's Most Wanted episode.

It was tough but what Chelsea's Mom wanted to do.

It was good being with her and sharing stories.

Hopefully the murderer will be arrested soon.

have kept up with this "cold" case...read on it and watched what they offer....still shocking and so sad, but there is "hope" well at-least i like to think there is, they will find and punish who did this....

hugssss to you....
