under the hem of another afternoon revival
behind some hilltop cozydoe gin
you said it was too hot to be that hot
you were burning up too, as I mentioned

your legs could have been long stem roses
and the vase of my palms more well adjusted
to make you squirm and dance your glances
as we both stayed just a little out of focus

you wore your freckle décolletage again
that valley of oh damn, I love that dress
and asked if I remembered all their names
since the last time we were here this way

when the mood music was handy underhanded
and strumming your harp was my only religion
you said my kiss made you crazier then me
so calling me those kind of things was ok

while you waited impatiently for the rapture

There are so many lines I was tempted to copy... but... *G* That must have been SOME kiss! LOL

I believe, sir, that you must have a master's degree in the double entendre. this one did not go where I thought it might...superb rendering of thoughts here.
