my ghost haunts these halls where the light streams and dust berly still my essence fills each room with echos that laughter once filled my time growing short in this space where no one cares to be where my books, my trinkets, my wares my keepsakes... every part of me reside- my memories fill the corridors once open and filled with love once i was amidst this world now I can only watch from above I try to hold their hands you know I try to cradle them near but their hands don't feel my gentle touch nor arms to cast away fear with regret- I watch them cry in these rooms of mine and try to wonder why when before my touch and gentle embrace to them was just a passer-by now these halls will pass on to other souls to be what of my ghost that resides here what becomes of me? I go? |

Thank you, although I hope I never find myself haunting those halls anytime soon! |
