If life was only for the living...
you would not be here
infusing me with vibrating colors.
The eyes of time sweep slowly
past sun flowered thoughts
as I kneel in the yard
surrounded by spring's hues.

I cherish the cheery dandelions
as much as the tender graceful violets.
Surely I am a silly sight to see
hopping around gleefully
as if I had never romped
in an April breeze!

Your brushstrokes would
capture this moment
boldly, without apology.
For you see what others miss,
the essence of my spirit
in life's deepest hues....
a free spirit,
naked to the universe
save for my cloak of humanity
and respect
for the diversity
of life.

Kacy, VvG could paint your spirit with a brush, almost as beautifully as you can with a pen...

This is a beautiful painting, lemon yellow, vermillion red, deep violets, and sky blue. Very scenic.

...this ending is superb, but, then again, it is connected to a superb write...it is so visually perceptive and pleasing...nicely, very nicely done...
