April 14, 2009.
Lights, camera, action...
She takes her place on the stage.
Will she remember past performances
as I do?

Bit part...or star,
holding the audience in the palm of her hand?
Will there be someone waiting in the wings
with a bouquet of roses?

Break a leg, Baby.

Yo dear Ida,

I have to ask the question, who is this about.

It's a really neat poem.

I adore this.

With my last pregnancy I chose Ava as my girl name. Turned out it was a Gabriel instead He will be 2 tomorrow *sniff sniff*

Congratulations!

Hi yann, that's just a term, used in the theater, to mean "good luck"

this has a daughter-aura to it, so it is quite understandable that it is your granddaughter...they are so special, are they not?

nice, emotive write

Hey, yes, go break a leg, 'baby'. I'd sooner hobble through life with first-night nerves than wither as a passionless athlete.
A new life, an old world. But, a new dream.
