Standing at the edge of the cliff, contemplating the plunge, every fight and neglecting action makes you fake a lunge. You know you deserve happiness, but somehow you settle for less, some days you just want to run away and leave behind this mess. Times when denial out weigh the bad and you can make it one more day, but you know for sure, that over all, the hurt won’t let you stay. It’s like living alone, but with someone there, to witness all your pain. Someone to kick you when you’re down, then have the nerve to complain. The fear of falling, as you’re reaching out, and no one grabs your hands, the regret of things not working out, or going as you planned. Loss of love and loss of the life, you thought you’d always know, The trust you gave to someone else, that someone just let go. |
