She is a sonnet laid out, black and white Fingers to trace the letters one by one Eyes to devour her lines with pure sight And a mouth to speak her tale that is spun O but what I would give to have these things As surely want as the same as to need Breathing her words that bewitched heralds sing And my love of words from her she will feed In still deep waters her depths bottomless From cradle to the grave I feel for her My thoughts as I read her are limitless And the patterns she weaves cause me to stir That which would kill are but words in my head Not the things she does, yet of what she said |

This is just excellent poetry writing. You have a poet's mind and that comes in real handy around here. I wish I had the same but I just don't. Too much songwriter. Enjoyable read. Eric |

If I were a songwriter, I could just chime in with a "me, too!" for ethome's comments. *S* Fingers to trace the letters one by one Eyes to devour her lines with pure sight And a mouth to speak her tale that is spun Pure enchantment... perfect write... Beautiful work! |
