fingers soar like eagles
against your skin
I chase the moon across your eyes
my eyes racing to catch your smile
upon your lips
my heart jumps when your arms
find their home around my waist
I can't say that I love you, but
I can say that I'm willing to wait
to see what God has in store
for our rebellious hearts
I promise my dreams
won't jump to conclusions
and I promise not to be someone that I'm not
just as long as you promise
to continue to have patience
while I fall in love

The only time we waste is the time we spend thinking we are alone.
