Barefoot April fell in diamonded drops from a dark heavy velvet sky I stood by the open window trying to catch its salty breath and the wind took a haunting of the gauze covering the panes wrapping like searching hands flying around all past ghost dancing a repertoire of one and tenderly I collected the step dance with me my darling as outside the rain jazz taps we a passionate floor ballet barefoot to formal ignorance "I'm so hard to handle |
