She said she thought, perhaps, that he
was much too much like me for us
to ever find a comfort zone
and that the fates had written thus--
"This is now, decreed."

So I've been thinking to myself
and now I'm thinking thoughts in verse--
she's in love (oy, what a curse!)
with a boy of personality
similar to me?

A menopausal-PTS'd,
borderline with GAD
agoraphobically maligned,
with phantom pains of ovaries
which do not exist no mo!
(Unless of course, they're in a lab
undergoing scrutiny
by some bored biotech
who wonders what became of me..)

And yet she is in love with him,
and cannot stand the sight of me.
So I suggested surgery--
if such comparison be true.
He'd need to volunteer to be
castrated, just like me.

?

Then perhaps, some middle ground
the bubble in the level, found,
if a triple level be,
one that could accomodate
me and him and her and he
might find that he no longer needs
to show off his nipple rings
by taking off his shirt
and posturing
in the light of evening...

I think that thought appeals to me--
I'd like to see him tottering
on my bunions and bad knees
banging on the bathroom door in sweat
at four, at five, at six a.m.--
an exercize in sphincter-fret
pleading for some mercy, please.

Damn, he must be some sexyyyyyyyyy.

No wonder she's in love.

Gee I don't know K, I think I would hang him from the shower curtain with those rings.  However, she IS in love.  I printed this one as I wondered who else is dealing with this slice of life today?  I would bet more than any of us could ever imagine. I am laughing remembering what I brought home at one time, so you made my day.    Just remember there are about 40 of those sphincters and maybe she will tire of him before you need to fret.

The title got me laughing, then you slammed me with the write! Like Susan, I'm saving this one for those 'slow' reading days when nothing tickles my fancy.

is it snowing down south ?

( that’s what they use to say when your slip was showing)
Freudian slip?
girls use to like boys that were like their fathers
maybe they like boys that are like their mother’s too
and in this case….i would say she is pretty damn smart
but that’s just my opinion
giggle

when my oldest son was growing up I use to tell him
“stop pretending that ya hate me cause ya don’t”
funny when he grew up he found out …he didn’t

What?

And yep, be it duly noted, that it was I who recognized bad behavior and reported it!

But I mean...whatever the moderators decide...

I understand the angst and frustration... but still, I'm ROFLMAO! And of course you think in verse... we've known that for a long time! LOL And of course she sees some of you in someone she loves... she does love you, yanno. *G*

And another LOL @ Mysteria's shower rod decor! LOL

Oh yes, but you went through it too, so you know.
Can't fight that biological function.
You might be right she might be crazy....Remember that song?

Anyway, I love ya kid and you can wordsmith yourself into the hearts of untold thousands.

Had to smile at those female barnacles you brought up.
Seasoned, that's what I'd say, simply seasoned, with the fermented tales of the hard wired writers.

You da best!

Another Karen masterpiece!  So many layers and thoughts and emotions, the pain laced with the giggle-mind humour that is so essential for survival, all weaved into a perfect entity!  Never, stop writing (as if you could!)!

You guys are so forgiving of my silliness, so I sincerely thank you.

Pretty childish of me, I know, but he started it. (He called me a bad word in a public forum.)

He should be careful. I happen to own three actual bathrooms, and I have sharpies, and I can put whatever I want on the walls. Ya'll know--something colorful to match the shower curtain? (too funny Shar!) *grin*

Sorry about mussing up Ron's.

Love to all--even him. In time. Maybe. I might like him better after I meet the next one? Sheesh.

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

Edited to clarify a pronoun: "even him" meant, of course, the dingo boy with nipple rings--not Ron.

But Ron, if you have nipple rings? heh

*laughing*

We all would pay for pics!
