Evening sun begins to set, cotton candy sky, delicious to the eye, Rush through the past, memories songs playing, over and over in my head, You faded into the darkness, that day your hand slipped, slowly from mine, We we laughing in the sun, miles of golden wheat fields, daisies you made a wreath, As you crowned me Queen, your Queen of your heart, time played on, Days and months past, rolling time clock ticks, moving way too fast, Then one day you were gone, on the edge of the field, you disappeared into the forest, I screamed your name, crying, you heard me, but never answered, so the lamp glowing bright, The one you lit inside my heart, still glows, holding time still, in the quietness, Of each day, I think of you, I whisper your name, I close my eyes, Wherever you are, whatever you do, someday when the sky is clear again, peer through the haze, See my heart flicker, as it has been, it will always be, until my heart beats its last beat. Calling out to you.... [This message has been edited by A Romantic Heart (04-06-2009 07:25 PM).] |

Beautiful. Little Romantic Heart I hear your heartbeat calling loud and clear. When I see your face all the angels are shamed. |
