 You are a soul, tender, hurting, searching in darkness of life, feeling empty, forsaken, but I am here, You feel lonely, sad, lost, crying without tears, broken, afraid, confused, but I am here, Your body aches, tired, sore, from a life of stress, feeling pressure, strain, but I am here, Your mind thinks thoughts, good, bad, sometimes helping, sometimes ending, hurting others, with words, but I am here, I see the pain behind those eyes, I feel the burdens of your heart, too much weight upon your back, When you cry out, I listen, I come with arms wrapped around you, holding you, calming your heart, I am here, I am here.... |

I am most fond of the beginning of this ‘write’!: “You are a soul, tender, hurting, searching in darkness of life, feeling empty, forsaken, but I am here…” to bad many (most?) folks are not empathic personalities as describe so well by: “I see the pain behind those eyes, I feel the burdens of your heart…” If they were, it would be a far, far better society. glad to see the heart of Romanticism beating so clearly in this ever-darkling world ! applause for this ‘penning’ |

I like the repetition employed here with the "I am here" and the way it tied in at the end. Nice. |
