ah yes … the classical Japanese Heian Waka!... she wrote transience and solitude oh so well: “This abandoned house … how many nights has autumn spent there” “While watching the long rains falling on this world my heart, too, fades with the unseen color of the spring flowers.” “To think at last I'll be a mere haze pale green over the fields.” mighty fine 'write,' John! MUCH (sustained) applause for this 'penning' !! |

Describing old prints seems to be your forte, John. And the poet you chose wrote many fine lines. It's hard to imagine someone not acknowledging her. |
