Swooned unto the point of falling into And losing myself in her masquerade Living dream of a deeper shade of blue But wounded upon her silence this day The eyes closed drifting thoughts sweetly slumber Bury me in her words that are like deeds The seconds fading, know not their number Like breathing, she is the one thing I need The mortal wounds cut a deep swath of pain For her silence wrought is too much to bear The flesh is weak and flesh cannot contain The pain of memory that we both share Because we live sharing last, final breaths We die once, yet love dies a thousand deaths |

The mortal wounds cut a deep swath of pain For her silence wrought is too much to bear I've read many poems of silence's power... even tried to write a few. *S* But you've penned it perfectly... sad but beautiful write! |
