A passion lived among us, Till disappearing Within love's twin. What it became, Was the falling of jacks As the ball bounced away, A pointless sin. What it was Is now a loss, Jumping over steps, Scratching sweaty pores, Wondering, What could be changed, How it could morph, Why I want this. To forget inspiration, Of unwrapping clothes With playful love. To see inside, Eye’s of true life, Not deceiving peace Who lives to gain, not give. But as a beauty dies, I die with it, While weeping for love, And searching, for what was. For true passion, Underneath the skin, Beneath the lies, Of love's twin. "I can't see my forehead!" -Patrick |

I really enjoyed this poem. Nice to see you in open Free In these lonely halls no moon will weep, no sun will shine. |
