tiny, little Details

Were my eyes a dreary canvas
colored by sadness gray
Were they mirrors of my mind
giving my secrets away
Did the world stop turning
or spin out of control
Did the earth really shake
or did she crack thunder in my soul
Did my feet leave the ground
or was I glued down to the floor
Did I almost tread backwards
and just walk out the door
Did it last just fleeting seconds
or does the moment persist
because I’m still asking questions
about a tiny, little kiss

This is the best part of this. It says everything else. I think we all remember this thought.

JD,

Just yesterday I was thinking about the power
of a touch, a look, a caress, and here you've
nailed it on the head.

Welcome to Passions!

Welcome to Passions.
The essence of love really is all in the tiny details, isn't it?
Looking forward to more from your pen.

Thanks for the kind words and warm welcome
I hadn't written in several years (i used to post on here in teen poetry about 9 years ago under my first and last name)and then this little experience happened upon me, so I decided to jot it down.  I figured since I wrote it, I may as well share it with someone since I dared not ever let her see it!  I dont know if I'll be writing again anytime soon, but if I do you guys will be the first to know...

Well it's a pleasure to read you, glad you found your way back.

Love the special effects and tiny little details
of what must have been a kiss you'll never forget.....
