Fingertips glide gently
over cheekbones and nose,
then across a smile,
without beguile.

For it’s in the touch
you shall know me,
round a chin of determination,
down shoulders of strength and resolve,
across majestic mountains
of anticipation
to the vibrant valley
where dreams come true.

Touch...
is where two yearning hearts meet,
one-on-one in love so sweet
it tingles heart and feet, curls toes,
as the scent of Love excites the nose.

Two become one,
within love's sweet touch.

from 2001...

I have so little memory of that year. (Even less than usual.)

"a chin of determination"

*smiling and touching the screen*

I have one of those. (er...two?)

But if someone had told me that year, that I would live through it, I'd have denied it.

You're an inspiration, kindheart kacy.

Love you.

Thanks, Bobby.
I was living in Alaska, and K, that was indeed a tough year. I had just joined Pips before the 9-11 towers tragedy happened. The board was moving so fast, anything we wrote disappeared in seconds!

Get down tonight!

Ooooo this is very special.
My Father was blind and he once said,  the best picture
he had of me was when we hugged one another.

Touch is quite a powerful, sensitive, gentle emotion in itself.

Thanks for this gift of words, Kacy~

Beautiful 'touch' midnite.

2001 was a good year. At least in my world.

I am delighted by all these wonderful replies.
Tim, a songwriter friend of mine years ago wrote/sang this wonderful line I'll never forget:

"talk is such a waste of time
when touch is all it takes
to make us warm"

You know I love your Nature writes. Your own natural instincts are in fine poetic form with this one, I see!

Excellent!!!
