tender wandering thoughts
sway in rhythm with each lull and crash
inhale….exhale
pulling emotions on glowing strands
there, in moonlight pale

these flights of fancy
serenaded by organic melodies
stranded in my soul
left to echo….. redundancies
~reminders of you

as if somehow I could forget
the cadence of my own heartbeat~
tonight…..tonight, oh how the moonlight gleams
once again I am surrendered to memories
and will be lost to you in dreams…

This is absolutely lovely... and loving. Every line follows the sea's rhythms so well I feel my toes should be wet... and the verse above is one of the most beautiful I've read in a long time... Into my library this goes! *S*

The lull and crash and the inhale and exhale....describes in perfect clarity along with the picture, how our memories keep washing ashore in our minds.

This speaks to me on so many levels,
It is again one of your very best.

I am in awe of your tallent, and inspired to be a better poet with each reading of your poems.

So well done.   Loved it,
Thank you.  Tracey.

This poem touched me deeply.

Thank you SEA.

A chorus of agony from heaven and rain poured in a colossus of angel's tears.

How romantic.  I love the ocean tides.  I never get to see them, but I love them anyway.  Lovely picture, too, and entirely a complement to the poem.
