I leaned back As the engine revved. The seat belts fastened And the runway screeched As we took off into the unmasked sky... The rules of diplomacy Were left at the ground. Dormant, meaningless, Like the woods that cater to the snow and mountaintops. Glasses and headphones Lay comfortably to the sound of speed, The wind gusting against the planes wings Like the rue of the night. And each head was from another town Another parallel of life Sifting their way to their next chapter.. Searching for their next flight. Their next meeting, Next affair, Their next romance, But for a few hours.. A few frozen miles, We sat. |

love it just got off a 20 hour flight you really captivated me with lines such as ' Glasses and headphones Lay comfortably to the sound of speed.' Boshii2 |

It's funny how much each flight really has in common, no matter the destination, no matter who sits next to you. |
