How shall I explain what it is to thee That entices a man to suffer such loss How thou art all and entire to see Graven thy image felt on skin embossed A smile which issues from the lips and eyes Mystery from inner depths to explore Beauty both timeless and personified A touch which makes cause for kings to implore Stir the echoes in the well of a soul Fathomless thy reach across time and space Unworthy suitors thy heart they not know They kneel prostrate in presence of thy face I will try to explain what makes thee fair Yet I fall short as nothing shall compare |

Stir the echoes in the well of a soul I love this line... so much I forgot for a moment to finish the poem. *S* But the whole is wonderful! You write of beauty great enough to start wars but from the perspective of one admirer... and give us excellence! *S* |
