When the blue wave breaks lightly upon the ribbed sand
And the stars all shine brightly at ev'ning's command;
When the mermaids are playing in currents and tide
And lost lovers are swaying; their breaths coincide
With the whispering voice of the seas on the shores
While the sirens rejoice as their sweet singing soars.

When the moon floats up high on the evening's breeze
And the sibilant sigh of the leaves on the trees,
Like a mystical prayer sung by angelic throats,
Drifts on soft scented air with rich musical notes
All the earth is in dreams, lost in heavenly sleep,
And an Angel it seems will eternal watch keep.

Let me hold your soft hand, come and fly by my side
Over sea, over land, arm in arm let us glide,
Over rivers and lakes and green valleys below
Through the white dancing flakes of the flurrying snow;
Over sea, over land, all the beauty unfurled
Now you must understand I just gave you the world.

There are just too many superlatives for me to list here, that could be used to describe just how much I enjoyed this gorgeous penning!

It was a pleasure to see this side of your talent ~ and spirit.

Every line was breath-takingly beautiful, mystical and utterly magical.

That's beautiful!
I really, really liked it. it seems, to me, to express the ultimate high (i.e. love); getting lost and found at the same time.
