I found myself Entombed in the throes of her sorrows like A sunken Spanish galleon nestled softly Under the heft of the Ocean Silent and sincere As the waters that Held it tight Suffocating under the weight of her tears And then the pastor spoke About John and God's miracles About faith and hope About the malignant tumor in his wife's breast And the day it became benign He should have spoken about doubt He should have spoken about Job Maybe I would have understood |

awesome awesome awesome poem. seriously. i am floored by how good this is. It's a pretty heavy piece you laid down. I hope it helps you walk a little lighter. Again, excellent work. I'm not just saying that. |
