 Who am I? but a poetess of romance, filled with passion and love, so much it overflows, overwhelms, It's hard to keep under control, This fire burning inside me, through the torches of fingertips, words burn onto this blue screen, releasing passion and fantasy, Not of love gained, but desire of, desire to know and feel love to its fullest, to express, and touch hearts, hopes and dreams yet to come? Playful, yet sincere, self esteem, yet humble and modest, a very best friend, a dream lover, a fairy, a princess, a queen, a homeless person in need, to a soldier. This is my stage, I am the actress, writing my own plays, sometimes, writing from the experience of others, you are my audience to which I perform, Where ever my imagination takes me, I will fly to that world, and write, as I close my eyes, I am there, seeing, feeling, touching, On these blank pages of blue, my canvas, I can paint whatever you wish to view, whatever you wish to feel, to experience, I can take you there, an escape perhaps? Maybe words of wisdom, or to make you think, to make you cry, or to laugh, to desire, maybe I am a dream weaver of sorts? dreams written with words and stories. Whatever you may call me, a poetess, a dreamer, a friend or a lover, my heart has been written within each line, pieces left like crumbs, a trail, leading you into the deeper me, every inch of me every chamber, of this heart exposed, written, expressed and laid bare, open. Who am I? a writer of song, of love, of life, given the gifts of empathy, sympathy, of love, inspiration, I am "A Romantic Heart". wow, this was a cool idea for a poem  but i had a quick question if you don't mind?? Are your eyes green or brown cuz in the beginning of the poem (the picture i mean) your eyes are brown and then at the end your eyes are green? Do you wear contacts!! Anyways!! Love the poem peace n' love |

lol. my eyes are brown, and I wear contacts just for show, or a change, they are not prescription. I have blue ones too, that is the cool thing about having dark brown eyes, the colored contacts show very well...after all, an actress needs her costumes lol, what fun would it be without them? Thanks...for your compliments! There was a challenge long ago to write a poem "who am I?" so this is my take on that ...I didn't choose the same title, too cliche so to speak. ~ARH |
