the actual movie

her paint brushes stand, brush side up
in used jars -
a tip from Modern Painter's Quarterly.

she talks on the phone
to see who studies
with who.

the library is after her
to return the books.

she takes two painting courses a week
and orders instruction videos through the mail.

she has a commissioned work that sits in the corner,
unfinished for some esoteric reason

and she is the only person I know
that watches the director's commentary
before seeing the actual movie.

You have strong powers of observation ~ and that serves a poet well. Perhaps you have more than just a passing interest in her.
