Nightfall brings my muse As I lay me down to rest Fearing to tell her how much I need Her whom knows me best I, spellbound within the want And she in vulnerable wait Anxious for my return to her Hope this does not come too late The sacred thoughts in my mind Are on the verge of lips to speak Only for her ears to catch In fear though, that she may flee Before the moment of magic wanes I furiously write of my desirous need Of her whom I now confess Of her whom I only can feel Here I live within the timeless hope For the one day she might share Words of want and need to me Giving somehow of her heart to bear |

My muse is Merry the Fairy! She often helps me write my love poems. She knows what's in my heart ~ better than I do! ~ and she knows how to express it! She comes to me in the night, as well. I always have pen and paper next to my bed so that when she starts spouting those 'purdy' words, I will be able to write them down! I enjoyed this collaboration between you and your muse!   EA |
