She glides through my thoughts, like Moon-mist on a calm Mere,
a porcelain vision, so flawless... so pale.
A murmuring zephyr, one feels, but cannot hear;
So hard to resist; condemned, ever, to fail.

A sweet, silken whisper, caressed by the light
of a great Harvest moon, shining so palesomely
serene, in her hair... a soft, tumbling, delight;
she whispers "Your heart is full forfeit to me."

Such whisper stands not in demand of the choosing;
my heart is lost swift, as a teardrop in rain;
with scarcely, a heartbeat span spent in the losing;
my reason consumed by her bright, shining flame.

She moves through my thoughts, whisper soft, as a lover's sigh
caressed by candle-glow, honeyed and gold.
My thoughts shiver gently, not knowing the reason why,
My mind confounded... but, my heart, soft-knows.

I stand, with the Chasm of Reason before me...
she beckons; eyes soft, as original sin.
One step, and I know I am lost for Eternity;
she reaches out... and, I plunge down, therein.

My dreams forever bound with this exquisite chain,
not wanting ever, my heart to be free;
until the World ends, in her thrall, ever... to remain,
This one, that my heart knows simply, as... She.
