January now Is not the same As when We were young Back then There was more than Reindeer flying Through a starry sky Near the end Of a prior year I could believe Growing up Is not the same As growing old One can be aged As Moses And still a fool Over withered fields Covered in new snow The plaintive ringing Of a distant bell . |
