along the one through those nowhere wide spots when the 4am of donut skunks and orchid funeral sweet sickening good mornings cover my left over cigar like wet fingers the copperhead has her rattles on high beam cutting blue slices of sky and bending clouds like they were old cotton soggy socks hanging over a phone line without pins my mind turns on the rather place channel with your perfume and little else on some thought TV and you are just too chilly wearing those wanting to be warm buttons there and then yesterday drives up close again and parks by that park full of sun colors where you had your tip toes on high beam and kept my arms at your sides just long enough for me to be addicted to your kind of whiskey _______________ daark (forbidden) |
