My angel flew away one night,
the day that I found you.
It left cause it thought you'd protect me
and always be true.
My angel flew away one night,
it left my heart and soul.
You were supposed to keep me safe,
but the pain has taken its toll.
I lost my guardian angel,
because I thought you'd always be there.
But sometimes my heart was so empty,
lonely and bare.
You're supposed to be my angel,
so hold me when I cry.
and if you really are my angel
you'll be with me the day I die.
