Nothing I’m reaching Out to her My bleeding heart Just took another bullet Knowing that she wants to die. She denies everything S*M*I*L*E*S So superficial And she knows it… All of the answers we need. She told us all of her secrets Let her own heart bleed Like mine is now, Shared her life story And expected us to do nothing… But I never could just sit back And see others in pain And do nothing. For I won’t believe That nothing is all that can be done. I wrote this poem about a friend of mine that is depressed, and also about how people always tell me "there is nothing you can do to help." ------------------ [This message has been edited by katrina (edited 06-25-99).] |

There is always something you can do. A simple smile or just let them know you care about htem and you love them. It may not seem like much, but coming from someone who has and is going down that same path, it's a hell of a lot. ------------------ Jamie ~don't let your love pass you by....~ |
