So long ago you have forgotten, The bitter hate in my eyes. But I cannot forget. I will never forget. I was born to be what I am. I hold no grudges. My only language is soft words or angry fists. Was I born to hate you? The love I felt I thought true. I have seen the tears of many That fell to your trap. I was your unknowing prey. Years have passed since the day, The day she cried in sorrow, Because of you. But you don't know. That day holds no place in your memory. But is imprinted in mine. As she told the world of pain with tears, My hate was born. A fire that burns within me. I long for the day you pay. The day you payed for her pain. A sweet revenge that has not come. How was I to know? To know that I was next in line? You take a girl, tell her you love her, Then leave her to drown in her own tears. You worked your charm, And my untamed heart fell, You played your trick, But you saw no tears of mine. I would not cry. Not a single expression to give away my torment. Not a wince or a word to give it away. I hid my emotions, and hate was born again. And so my hate lives on, Waiting for the day, That victory will be mine. I wait for sweet Revenge. |

I agree with Aprender, great work! ------------------ *Krista Knutson* I see the world through the loving eyes of my heart, and suffer the pain of unfulfilled visions. -- Daniel L. Miller |
