This is for my best friend who died 2 years ago.... Dear Stephanie Hey cousin, can you hear me? How are you today? Thanks for asking- I'm ok. It's gray outside As the squirrels run and hide, I watch them from the window My sorrow I do not show You're in a place you don't belong What happened was wrong I just wanted to say hi. I just want to be able to say good-bye Feb.16,1982-Jan.17,1997 The world wasn't ready for an angel ------------------ ~don't let your love pass you by....~ [This message has been edited by abra-cadabra (edited 06-25-99).] |

Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend, abra-cadabra. I don't think the world is ever ready for an angel... |

It is such a hard thing to loose someone you love. Your poetry is beautiful, and I can easily relate to it. Good job! ------------------ |

I really liked this poem, although you wrote it during a very sad time I'm sure. The world may never be ready for an angel, but so many ordinary people walking around today can be considered angels, to good for this world. Heaven must have been calling your cousin, they must have seen she was truly an angel. ~*~ Raven ~*~ |
