Wish Upon A Star

I wish upon a star tonight
That you and I just might
Become one, and stay that way
For forever and one day

And now as we walk the beach
Out for your hand I do reach
You take it, and embrace it warmly
And wrap your arms around me firmly

You kiss me on the cheek, I smile
I just want to stay like this awhile
And In the sand we draw a heart
And below it write, we never will part

And now so many years have past
But only memories seem to last
You and I, away we seemed to fade
And forgot the memories we made

Sometimes on the beach I walk
And pretend with you I talk
And of a star I catch sight
Then wish with all my might

That your love for me was true
And you know I love you like I do
So if you ever change your mind
My love for you, you will find.
