I looked up and dreamt
How life could be
If there was no you
If there was no me
Dreams no longer crushed
Falling in love no longer rushed

I began my journey home
Only to see
Bright lights
Staring back at me

It was an 18 wheeler truck
Going 70 at least
Charging at me
Like a wild beast

Im lying in a pool of blood
Head bust open
And i heard the thud

The pavement red
Sirens ring not too far
Could it get worse?
Theres much more

Its barely a few minutes
Yet it feels like a lifetime
All i could do is lie still and quiet
As if i were a mime

I hear them say
Were too late
Shes going to die
Why do they stand there?
Cant they just try?

Everything all warm and cold
At the same time
Its all over now
I wish I couldve said goodbye
