Tonight I met a fallen angel... |

Tonight I met a fallen angel Who came to me from up above Who would have thought that in a stranger Someone like me could find love Her voice was friendly and unique Her eyes were glittering with sparks She used my silent thoughts to speak And always laughed at my remarks She promised that she wouldn’t wake me If I was dreaming all of this She swore to me that she would take me Beyond the boundaries of a kiss My eyes were swimming in her soul I realized that I’ve been blessed The clock was ticking on the wall My heart was tacking in my chest My heart could not believe my sight I walked her home and held her hand And in response to my “good-night” She said, “when can I see you once again?” And yet our date was never finished The clock alarm rang in her head And in a flash I was diminished And she woke up tucked in her bed ------------------ I fell in love and kept on falling |
