These foolish games. That you play with my heart Are always the same. From me, they never part. You've done it before And you'll do it again. My heart now sore from all of the pain. I listened to your lies. Your I love you's and I care's. I heard them with sighs For I knew you weren't there. I let you in my heart, Let you see deep inside. From you, I never wanted to part. My secrets, to you, I confide. Then you turned around. You slapped me in the face. Without making a sound, You left my secret place. You played with my emotions You played with my heart. You caused so much comotion, Deep down in my good heart. |
