I feel gratified.
Like I could get somewhere in life.
I used to feel small.
Like I was no one at all.
Everything takes commitment and dedication.
If I want to be somebody,
I must raise my head up high.
For no one else is responsible for my life.
If I feel fat, I'll exercise.
If I feel stupid, I'll read.
If I feel lonely, I'll call my friends.
I'll never feel at need.
All of this may sound cheesy because I'm playing my own cheerleader.
But by saying all of this, it makes me feel a whole lot better.
