I still see her,
in my dreams.
The picture so clear as she stands alone.
Wearing that outfit that she knows I love. The black pants and butterfly tank makes the dream more real.
I can smell her hair, God I miss that smell.
And her sea blue eyes still catch my heart
I watch as she gives me that breath taking smile, then bites her lower lip.
She still wears the necklace that she took from my bedpost, and she plays with it in her right hand.
She starts to walk slowly to where I stand.
And we both lie down, her in front and I behind.
Holding her close with my left arm over her waist.
It feels so perfect, her in my arms.
Then for some cruel reason, I awake.
Lying on the right side of my bed,
I still have my arm lying out where she would been sleeping, but nothing there just empty bed.
Then rolling over on my back and staring at my ceiling.
I guess I'll wait till tomorrow night
To see her again.
And every night she still visits me,
And every night The Perfect Picture of

Wow! This poem is really cool. It is nice to read about how guys portray girls in their dreams. good poem!

Thanx to all that replied and liked it. This is my first time that ANYONE has ever read my poems and I'm glad that you like them. This poem is true. Jill and I are still apart but lately I have been seeing her a lot.
Maybe dreams really do come true!!!!
