How is it in life
that we are able to make so many mistakes?
I try my damndest but it is so futile.
Every cliche that was ever written
these are the ones that describe me.
The first time we parted I waited 14 months,
then once more we were reunited.
We never really let each other go the 1st time
but this time we can only be friends.
I cant suffer holding you and then losing you it hurts me too bad.
I look into your eyes and see me,
my heart beat copying yours whenever we are near.
How can I just let go??
I have been there,
defended you and been your relaible best friend.
How is that rewarded.
I know it's not your fault truly.
But is it ok if I just ACT strong,
but slowly die on the inside.
There is no way around it.
Perhaps one day I will only feel for you in a friendly way.
Yet, for now I ache to see you,
I ache not to see you.
And pray for you to be safe from life.
To be happy and to most of all,
PLEASE REMEMBER ME.
