How could this happen? It just isn't fair. Someone should have told her, made her aware. She was ruining her body, just to get thin. She tried to stop, but she didn't know where to begin. All her life she spent trying to be like the rest. She thought she'd be popular, she thought she'd be the best. Everyone else called her a fool. It wasn't her fault, she wanted to be cool. She didn't know she had a problem until it was too late. If only she had known, she might have escaped. |

this poem is incredibly true. you have attemped to capture the reality. i give you lots of credit most people think if we don't talk about it, it will go away. |
