I lie awake
Thinking about you
Wondering where you are
Then I wish upon a star
That I was there too.

I find myself daydreaming all the time
Wishing that you were still mine
Hoping it would be the same again.

Then it all becomes so clear
You were always distant and never near
She has your heart now and she had it then
Now I realize that what we had was...
JUST A GAME OF PRETEND.
