The man on the corner so alone and cold,
age so young, face so old,
shoes filled with paper so his shoes will fit,
he cleans car windows with a cloth and spit,
hoping he'll make some change,
wishing his life would change,
but its too late in the night,
if he finds some food it'll be alright,
he walks through the alley, to the garbage can,
late night dinner for the homeless man,
he sleeps in a box, his hands kept warm with a pair of socks,
he dreams his dream in black and white,
re-living the scene of that terrible night,
the night that he lost his son and wife,
the roaring fire that took their life,
his family gone his home gone debts building everythings wrong,
another night he toss and turns,
another night the fire burns.
