ever loved and lost someone and they never knew

She sits alone
Feeling cold and sad
Praying that it wasn't that bad
Her tears will always wipe away
But the memories of him will always stay

She thinks back
And remembers that fateful day
When the one she loved went so far away

She never got to say
Or even express the way
She felt towards him

Now he has flown
Above the skies
Living in heaven
Or so it seems

In her dreams
she see's his smiling face
A smile creeps on her grief-stricten face

She remembers
those long days of laughter and fun
She forgets
His pale deathly cries
She forgets
that dark dismil funeral

Which left her feeling
so miserable

She remembers the best
The best he was
He will never go away
In her heart he will forever stay

That was a very touching poem. It reminded me of when I lost my dad. Its really hard to loose someone, but writing about it for me makes it a little more bearable.

except for the whole "heaven" part, i can relate to your poem...i was thisclose to missing my chance but i recovered it quickly and now i am happy!!
