You say you love me You say I hate you But it was my soul you broke It was you who cut me deeper It was your lies I heard the most And then you start crying But it is my tear that melts the sorrow (So desperately I love you) You liar You never gave yourself You were always someone else Not the poem you once wrote Not that smile That fantasy You hold my hands I run from you That's enough! You hurt me so! When I touch you I steal nothing You never let You never could You never wanted us to be Each other's thief And now it's over I'm half a lover [This message has been edited by orpheus (edited 07-11-99).] |

Ouch! That hurts me, and i don't even know the story behind it ------------------ "Poetry is an orphan of scilence. The words never quite equal the experiece behind them." *Charles Simic "The poet is the priest of the invisable." *Wallace Stevens* |
