In the first few minutes you were full of fire As the time clock ticked, you grew tired Waiting for the coach to send in a sub to take your place You wipe the sweat from the brim of your face You try to keep up with the rest of the feet Breathless, tired and needing a drink You're down by two and can't keep the beat They need you now, more than you know One last shot...then we can go That's all you can say Thats all you can think You're giving your all You're trying your best Forget that it hurts and do your job Remember your father is watching..you must make him proud The team is depending on you, so is the crowd You're burning with fire, it's all up to you One more shot is all we need The ball's in your court They travel your way Take a deep breath, don't pass away Remember your form, plant your feet Don't be afraid to watch and see Silence is deadly..the gym is a corpse The last half is deadly But your living this sport. |
