I am sorry that I ever loved you

So sorry for giving you my heart

Sorry for having told you that I care

I promise I’ll never love you again, I won’t dare.

I regret having been so bold

For I never knew you could be so cold

Sorry again for having loved you with such passion

But I never knew you had no compassion

I would have never given you my heart

If I knew that you’d tear it apart

I am so sorry for having dared to dream

You were my destiny, or so it seemed

Now that I’ve seen the whole picture, you can bet

That I won’t forgive, nor will I forget.

Whoever wrote this poem...is a very beautiful poet...I applaud him for loving someone and learning when to let go...Thank you for such a beautiful poem!
