Can't we just stop and hit rewind? Pretend this never happend Forget we played this game We're better off as friends I think we need our space This doesn't mean it's over Let's take another place...a different view, Another way We Know this isn't working...can't it be the same? Before we were together Why did it have to change? If there's nohing left to say, do me a favor..Hit REWIND and then press play. Let's just start new from here...leaving everything behind and accepting everything that's yet to come. |

Wow. another GREAT poem. this one reminds me of my best friend of over 5 years. We havent talked since around June b/c of some things she said about me, but reading that, I thinK I am ready to forget about it and have her as a friend again. I am sending it to her, with your permission of course? I will give u the credit too, but could I use it? Thank you a lot and reply quickly to my e-mail address: [email protected]. Thank you! |

I am in that predicament now and it lessens the pain to know that others are there too! Thank You! ------------------ "Poetry is an orphan of scilence. The words never quite equal te experiece behind them." *Charles Simic "The poet is the priest of the invisable." *Wallace Stevens* |
