A poem for Maria: Would you? If I told you I like you would you feel the same way If I told you I like you would you just say okay Or would you disreguard my liking with out attention Givng me back whatsoever no affection if I told you I like you would you smile and say i like you too Or would you just say, “Forget about you!” If I told you I like you , I'd be telling it so true Because I love your smile and just plain you Whatever it is I'd be there for you every day And I hope you feel the exact same way If I told you I like you would you think any less Of a person who actually turns to a mess When they look at your face, or see your bright smile And hope that the moment will last just one more while. If I told you I trust you would you trust in me too? Or at least be comforted that I trust in you. Trust truly is a funny thing to give. It’s a reason to love and a reason to live. Then of these reasons I speak may I truly have? Causing feelings of joy that compell one to laugh. Trust is intangible, elusive and free. It’s funny like that, impossible to see. It cannot be wrapped or hidden or boxed. But too very often near our hearts it is locked. Hy lock away such a powerful gift, When up to the heavens a heart it could lift? I know that it’s risky and a hard thing to do, But believe when I say, “I would never hurt you.” |

Wow, Maria looks like a lucky gal. I know I would be if I were in her position. Great job!!! ------------------ *Krista Knutson* |
