"If you ever get a chance
at the end of a busy day
Take the time to pause a while
and look up at the sky

You'll be amazed at the beautiful stars
twinkling in their black surrounding
and the moon casting its great light
that shines down on the earth

And as you're staring captivated
by the beauty they posess
Maybe if you're lucky
You'll see a shooting star

You'll see a wondrous light
flying across the sky
Lighting up its black surroundings
as it makes its journey home

And as you see this magic
happening before your eyes
Take the time and make a wish
For a moment let yourself dream

You may be dissapointed
as this beauty suddendly ends
The wonndrous light fades
and the magic dissapears

But count yourself lucky
to have witnessed this rare event
A beautiful act of god
that you may never see again

Remember in the future years
when you encounter tough days
Cast your eyes to the sky
Let the beauty captivate your life

Think of the shooting star
that lighted up the dark
Its life may of been short
but the memory remains forever in your heart
